Brent & Esther (Recourt) Hollink met at Bitter End Yacht Club when he was working at the Quarterdeck Marina, and she was working at Watersports. He a fisherman from the frosty white north of Canada, she a dinghy racing sailor from the Netherlands. Both shared a love of the water, and the BVI. Their personal connection naturally followed, and they later married on the beach at Vixen Point in North Sound. Today they are raising two young sons, and operate a popular fishing lodge (Brown’s Bay) on Vancouver Island. But they come back to visit often (as seen in the photo above)!.
